DTC OFF for Toyota & Lexus Denso ECUs
Which Toyota & Lexus Models Use Denso ECUs?
These Denso ECUs are found across a variety of Toyota and Lexus models, most commonly in those running the 2TR-FE petrol engine. These include:
- Toyota Hilux / Tacoma / Prado / Fortuner / 4Runner / HiAce / Coaster
- Toyota Innova / ToyoAce / RegiusAce / HiMedic / Champ
- Plus other naturally aspirated and low-pressure turbo platforms.
If you work with these models, you’ve likely seen the same issue: check engine lights triggered by hardware changes, and standard scanners won’t solve the problem.
Common Fault Codes in Toyota & Lexus Denso ECUs
Typical DTCs found in these ECUs include:
- P0420 / P0430 – Catalyst efficiency
- P0036–P0054 – Rear O2 sensor signals
- P0136–P0139 – Rear O2 sensor heaters
- P0300–P0304 – Random and cylinder-specific misfires
These often show up after decat, lambda delete, or engine conversions, and can only be removed properly by working at the hex level.
How to Delete DTCs from Denso ECUs in WinOLS
Denso ECUs don’t follow the same DTC structure as Bosch or Delphi systems. Their error codes and counters are arranged in four-column formats, with counters directly embedded into the same data structure.
In this video, you'll get a step by step demo of how to:
- Identify error and counter regions in WinOLS
- Use 16-bit LoHi hex mode to isolate and map out common faults
- Align and clean DTCs without damaging functional code areas
We don’t just tell you what to do, we show you real examples inside WinOLS, so you can build your own DTC OFF solutions with full confidence.
Why This Matters for Tuners
These ECUs don’t play nice with basic tools. If you’re still trying to delete codes blindly, you’ll eventually cause returns, failed inspections, or unsatisfied clients.
Once you understand Denso logic, DTC OFF becomes clean, permanent, and professional.
How to Permanently Delete ECU Codes Toyota
DTC OFF for Toyota requires more than toggling a few switches. We’ll show you how to locate and zero out the fault logic, remove the counters properly, and verify that the code won’t reactivate. Whether it's misfire, O2 sensor, or catalyst codes, you’ll learn the method used by top tuners worldwide.
WinOLS Mappack for Denso DTC OFF
As part of the training, you’ll get a Denso-specific mappack template to accelerate your work inside WinOLS. These structures are not public, and we’ve reverse engineered them to show you exactly how to identify and organize DTC and counter areas. Save hours of guesswork and avoid risky manual edits.
